Job description

The role will support Bidvest Noonan’s nationwide contracts. The position will be based from the London office and will involve travel. The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for the Health & Safety management of the company’s activities on client sites.

This includes developing and maintaining the Health & Safety programme for the contract, cross functional compliance and supporting the Noonan management team in driving and promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, promote and lead Health & Safety implementation plans in line with contractual requirements
  • Manage legal obligations and client expectations in line with industry best practice
  • Drive both Noonan objectives and client expectations on-sites
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of site-specific risk assessments and permit to work systems to meet regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Drive compliance and continuous improvement through auditing and staff training
  • Engage with staff to ensure a culture of excellence is achieved and maintained
  • Conduct, manage and review incident investigations
  • Review process and equipment changes to identify potential Health & Safety impacts
  • Review and report on relevant contractual KPIs
  • Engage with the clients to ensure key contractual requirements are fulfilled
Skills/Knowledge Required
  • Practical implementation of Risk Management Systems
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Primary Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Health and Safety
