Allen & York are delighted to be working with one of the country's leading resource companies to assist in appointing a Health & Safety Manager for their site in the Derbyshire region with additional sites across the northern region.
The company works across a broad range of recycling initiatives in Resource Recovery and Circular Economy to create clean energy and drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will work closely with site management to create and foster a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance across all sites. The role will involve a hands-on approach, working closely with the multi-cultural workforce to build strong relationships, ensuring inspections, audits, and adherence to industry best practices and trends.
Candidates should have team management experience and a background working in industrial environments, waste, or manufacturing. A track record of working with management systems including ISO 14001, 9001, and 45001 would be advantageous.
NEBOSH qualification with a pragmatic hands-on approach is required for this role, along with a can-do attitude.
