As Health & Safety Manager, you will lead the site on all things Health & Safety and report into a Head of Safety who covers all European sites.

You will:

1. Build strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by offering guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on all health and safety matters. Use these relationships to help embed a world-class safety culture across the site.
2. Always operate with professionalism and integrity, providing independent and expert advice to the site management team on all aspects of health and safety.
3. Develop a positive and cooperative working relationship with trade union representatives on site. Ensure regular meetings take place to review health and safety standards and actively involve the wider workforce in fostering a best-in-class safety culture.
4. Lead the site Health and Safety Committee, promoting effective communication, constructive engagement, and a shared understanding of roles and responsibilities among members.
5. Work closely with colleagues in the wider health and safety function and the company's senior leadership team to ensure a joined-up and consistent approach across the business.
6. Liaise with external organisations including regulatory bodies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and support continuous improvement in safety performance.

Salary will be circa 50K+!
