The Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator will report into the Plant Director and work closely with the Health & Safety Manager, assisting in generating and promoting a positive HSE culture across the business.

The role requires travel to various sites; a pool car is provided, so the successful candidate must have a full driving licence.

Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator - Responsibilities & Requirements

1. The ideal candidate will have experience within a manufacturing type environment
2. Overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards across sites
3. Regular site visits - around 42 days a year
4. Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures, policies, and standards are correct
5. Collating and analysing inspections, audits, and other key HSE performance data and statistics
6. Supporting with the monitoring and development of risk assessments, safe systems of work, etc.
7. Must have NEBOSH
8. IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
9. Will have ISO50001 understanding
10. Strong knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001
11. A willingness to learn, develop and work innovatively
12. Must have strong communication skills
13. Will possess a real passion for health and safety
