Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator - Wales - Up to £42,000 depending on experience

The Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator will report into the Plant Director and work closely with the Health & Safety Manager, assisting in generating and promoting a positive HSE culture across the business. The role requires travel to various sites, a pool car is provided so the successful candidate must have a full driving licence.

Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator - Responsibilities & Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have experience within a manufacturing type environment
• Overseeing health, safety and environmental standards across sites
• Regular site visits - around 42 days a year
• Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures, policies and standards are correct
• Collating and analysing inspections, audits and other key HSE performance data and statistics
• Supporting with the monitoring and development of risk assessments, safe systems of work etc.
• Must have NEBOSH
• IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
• Will have ISO50001 understanding
• Strong knowledge of ISO45001 and ISO14001
• A willingness to learn, develop and work innovatively
• Must have strong communication skills
• Will possess a real passion for health and safety
