About the role

Join our Health & Safety team based in Brighton, where you'll support teams across our office and manufacturing sites. You'll work closely with teams to promote best practices, safety culture and champion a safe and positive working environment.

  • Manage inbox requests, coordinate meetings, and support safety forum follow-up.
  • Arrange site visits and inspections, preparing all required documentation and safety arrangements.
  • Conduct regular site walks to monitor compliance, engage with employees, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety training, including inductions, toolbox talks, and mandatory courses.
  • Maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring accessibility and accuracy.
  • Record and analyse safety data to support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with health and safety legislation, attending training to maintain knowledge and support compliance.
  • Respond to urgent safety concerns and support incident resolution.
  • Support internal and external audits, contributing to the preparation process and implementation of actions.
  • Work with departments to embed safety into everyday practices.
  • Travel to Eastbourne as and when required.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage a complex workload with high attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Experience and knowledge of Health and Safety policies, legislation or similar industry.
