Our dedication to safety, compliance, and assurance underpins this commitment. By partnering with our colleagues, you'll help them achieve their goals, whether it's improving efficiency or enhancing safety culture. You'll solve the complexities of improving HSE standards, allowing our colleagues to focus on their core business and shape a better future at S+N.

In this multi-site role, you will be the driving force behind continuous improvement, demonstrating unwavering commitment and resilience. 3. Meeting regulatory authorities' expectations and working with them to tailor reporting requirements to fit the S+N business model.
  4. Identifying and leading improvement opportunities within the HSE function, promoting a continuous improvement safety culture with behaviour-based programmes.
  5. Conducting assurance activities to identify compliance gaps or improvement opportunities and implementing CAPA plans.
  6. Maintaining environmental authorisations and permits.
  7. Leading incident investigations, ensuring root cause identification and CAPA implementation.
  8. Owning specified SOPs, such as Risk Management and CoSHH.
  9. Developing HSE management systems for legislative compliance and S+N corporate standards, and ensuring compliance with changing regulations.
  10. Tracking compliance obligations, recording actions within the management system, and participating in internal audits.
  11. Reporting ESG/Sustainability metrics monthly and supporting compensation/liability claims management.
What will you need to be successful?

You'll hold a qualifying degree or a similar level qualification in a relevant field, or possess equivalent experience. Experience working to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is desirable.
