We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to support our head office and site-based teams across our group divisions.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a self-sufficient Health & Safety Advisor who is NEBOSH qualified (as a minimum) and has previous experience within the construction industry.

The Casey Group operates across several divisions and sectors, including new build housing construction, refurbishments, infrastructure (civils, highways, utilities etc.), landscaping, high-rise building remediation works and plant services. Due to this, experience within one or more of these is essential.

You will possess strong communication and influencing skills and have a keen eye for detail with a growth mentality in order to continually improve our health & safety standards.

You must hold a valid, full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle with business cover insurance.

The role of a Health & Safety Advisor at The Casey Group

1. Champion health, safety, and welfare across the company, communities, and workplace.
2. Raise awareness of the impact of injuries, damage, and waste while promoting occupational health and hygiene.
3. Stay updated on legislation, best practices, industry accreditations and CPD.
4. Develop safety documentation, including Construction Phase Plans, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
5. Conduct inspections, audits, and accident investigations, recommending preventive measures.
6. Advise on and manage PPE, equipment, and workplace safety solutions.
7. Organize and deliver relevant training, maintaining records and managing renewals.
8. Liaise with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and local communities, including schools and colleges.
9. Attend meetings to promote health, safety, and welfare while offering practical solutions.
10. Lead by example and manage junior team members.

What do you receive in return?

Financial

1. Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
2. Car Allowance of £4,000 per annum
3. Pension Scheme - We contribute 2.5% more than the employee's pension contribution, up to a maximum of 7.5% (e.g. employee puts 5% in, Casey puts 7.5% in)
