An exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a top of the range sports centre as Health & Fitness Manager. My client is a UK leading health and fitness operator and can provide brilliant progression opportunities. They have a fantastic fitness and group exercise product and require a dedicated and passionate Health & Fitness Manager who is focused on providing a superb member experience.

The main responsibilities of the Health & Fitness Manager are:

• To be an ambassador for the member services, studio and gym floor signature products
• Bringing the gym floor programming to life ensuring that the team delivers the required consistent standards
• To lead an expert team of Health and Fitness Professionals
• To facilitate a safe, fun and professional working environment
• To ensure Health and Safety requirements are met
• To report KPI’s to the Centre Manager

The candidate:

• Must have a Level 2 Fitness qualification
• Group Exercise qualifications are desirable
• A positive and proactive attitude is a must
• Ability to interact and be ‘hands on’
• A good standard of personal presentation, communication, and customer service skills

This is a fantastic job in fitness which requires the successful individual to take ownership of their own department and work closely with the Centre Manager and other members of the management team. You must be an outgoing character who thrives in and enjoys meeting the demands of a fast paced environment head on!
