Role: Health Economist / Clinical Project Manager

Location: Home Worker – GBR/ Remote

Site Location: Brentford, TW8 9GS

Duration: 12 months

Description:

  • The mission of the Health Economics Support in the Global Modelling & Evidence Synthesis team is to support team members and potentially lead targeted modelling projects and studies.
  • This contingent worker (CW) will focus on health economic evidence generation, study management, publication support, strategic and external engagement support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support for numerous modelling projects, such as proposal formulation, debugging, model updates, and responding to ad hoc analysis or requests, supporting model adaptations.
  • Supporting publication efforts and external engagements with HTA bodies, NITAGs, public health institutions, other health authorities, or external experts.
  • Creating country support materials such as modelling tools, value dossiers, slide decks, and webinars, ensuring model quality control and validation, and organizing webinars and training sessions on specific modelling topics.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to pivot to business needs, be scientifically rigorous, and delivery focused.
  • The ideal candidate is a Health Economist with over 5 years of experience, strong capabilities in health economic modelling, a robust publication record, and experience with developing Excel-based health economic models (including macros).
  • Programming in R/Matlab is desirable.
