We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Band 3 Health Care Support Workers within our Adult Community Mental Health Team. We are offering a permanent full-time post working from Monday to Friday 9.00-17.00. The post is for the MSHOP Charnwood CMHT, based at Loughborough Hospital, in Loughborough.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who would be able to work autonomously within a wider Community Mental Health team. We are looking for an individual who is committed to providing the best possible care to our client group and will demonstrate our Trust values in their everyday work.
The team consists of qualified and unqualified nursing staff, Consultant Psychiatrists, Nurse consultant, Trainee ACP, Occupational Therapists, Community connectors, and Admin staff. We have close links with GPs and community health services, other Mental Health services, and Social Services. We work in a multi-disciplinary way, and we have a holistic recovery-focused approach to our care provision.
The successful candidate will be supporting clients/service users in maintaining their health and wellbeing, undertaking specified and delegated clinical and therapeutic activities under the supervision of healthcare professionals, in addition to assisting the healthcare team with the planning, organizing, and provision of clinical care.
The post holder will also be tasked with ensuring high standards are maintained in a safe environment, which promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals, assisting Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualized care plans and accurately recording patient information, providing support and supervision to other colleagues and learners as appropriate.
