In North West England, JUSTH Ltd is seeking devoted and caring Senior Health Care Assistants and Health Care Assistants to join its team. These positions present a fulfilling chance to give people in need vital support and first-rate treatment.

About JUSTH

Young people between the ages of 16 and 21 can get help from Justh Supported Living, and depending on their unique requirements, transitional services are offered to people up to 25. The organisation provides a variety of support services that are customised to each person’s requirements, such as floating support, 24-hour on-site support professionals, and stable short-term and long-term housing.

Every young person in the care of Justh Supported Living is fully aware of their needs as determined by assessments and how those needs inform the plans for their care and support. Each person will get the assistance they need to make the transition to independent life with success thanks to this individualised approach.

About the Role

We are looking for Health Care Assistants and Senior Health Care Assistants to join our expanding team at JUSTH Ltd, a top supplier of health and social care services in the UK. For individuals 65 and older, young adults, and children with complicated care requirements, we offer first-rate assisted living facilities and domiciliary care services.

Location: Numerous sites in England’s North West

Type of Job: Permanent, Part-Time, or Full-Time

Pay: Competitive, determined by qualifications and experience

The role and responsibilities of a health care assistant
  • Give customers excellent personal care and assistance in their homes or assisted living facilities.
  • Help with activities of daily living, including clothing, feeding, cleaning, and getting around.
  • Under supervision, assist clients in administering their medications.
  • Encourage social interaction with clients to improve their wellbeing.
  • Track and report any changes in the health of your clients.
  • Cooperate with coworkers, families, and medical professionals.
Conditions:
  • While not required, prior experience working in a care or support capacity for at least a year is preferred. (Preference for knowledge of complex care requirements and mental health.)
  • A patient, sympathetic, and compassionate disposition
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
  • The capacity to work a variety of hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Right to work in the UK (while sponsorship is possible, it requires clearance from the home office)
  • A current UK driver’s license is preferred but not required.
Role and Duties of a Senior Health Care Assistant:
  • Manage and assist a group of healthcare aides in providing person-centred treatment.
  • Help with care planning and make sure that plans are adhered to
  • As needed, perform clinical duties and give medication (subject to training and competency evaluation).
  • Encourage junior employees’ training and growth
  • Communicate client needs to relatives and medical providers.
  • Verify adherence to all corporate and legal requirements.
Conditions:
  • A minimum of one to two years’ experience working in a health and social care capacity, with a preference for knowledge of complicated care requirements and mental health.
  • It is recommended if you have NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or are working towards it.
  • Excellent mentoring and leadership abilities
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom (while sponsorship is possible, it requires clearance from the home office)
  • A current UK driver’s license is preferred but not required.
