About the role:
We are looking for experienced care assistants to work for a leading care provider in the local area, assisting adults with various complex needs. This will be done within a care home setting, working as a team member around Leeds and Harrogate, as well as the surrounding areas. Duties will include:
- Creating a home environment that exceeds the needs of the adults, enabling them to develop their characters, feel safe, and enrich their lives.
- Providing a stimulating environment, implementing educational, personal, and social development of the adults.
- Contributing to the residents' care plans and risk assessments.
- Supporting residents with personal care and manual handling.
- Meeting the emotional and physical needs of our residents and maximizing opportunities for their development.
- Promoting independence and supporting residents with daily tasks.
SHIFTS: Include days and nights. We do not offer sponsorship as we are an agency.
Locations: Harrogate and Leeds
Pay Rate: FROM GBP 12.82 /HR
This is an ongoing temporary role.
Candidate requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months of working experience within a care setting in the UK.
- Trained to use hoist and rotunda.
- Operate with a caring, compassionate, and empathetic attitude.
- Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
- The ability to accurately follow instructions and keep records.
- Flexible in their approach and sensitive to the needs of residents.
- Ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families, and professional colleagues.
