Join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy as a Health and Safety Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and sustainability of our offshore wind farm operations off the UK East Coast (Lowestoft). Lead the way in creating a safer, greener future by driving Health and Safety excellence on-site!
We are looking for a Health and Safety Specialist, who will provide substantial support to our Service operations vessel (SOV) that will operate out of Lowestoft, and ensure appropriate health, safety and environmental arrangements are in place. The Environmental Health and Safety specialist will implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
This role will be responsible for collecting and reporting observations of near misses, accidents, incidents and deviations from agreed standards and efficiently report through the agreed communication channels. Ensure all Health and Safety incidents and occurrences are reported, investigated, corrective actions allocated, and incident workflow managed through to closure, as per Siemens Gamesa procedures and local legal requirements.
