Location: Portsmouth: You will be required to go to the offices 1 day per week and can work from home for the other 4 days a week. You will be required to attend sites to complete Health and Safety Checks in the Hampshire area; expenses will be paid; however, you will require a car to travel.

Hours of work: 37 hours, 8-4 or 8am to 4.30pm.

Salary: £48,000 - £48,750 per annum (pro rata). Dynamite Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor based in Portsmouth.

This is a temporary full-time role working 37 hours per week for 3 – 6 months with a combination of office work, visiting sites, and homeworking. As a Senior Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll be part of the Health & Safety team and be involved in supporting our Operations and Property Services teams.

Responsibilities:

• Help assure compliance with H&S legislation, company procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct workplace inspections.
• Advise/report on compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct investigations into safety incidents.
• Implement policies related to health and safety.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent.
• A wealth of knowledge and experience from a previous Health and Safety role.
• A background in property maintenance or construction and experience in housing is desired but not essential.
• A full current driving licence with your own transport to travel between sites around Hampshire.
• Availability to start ASAP and support on a temporary basis.
