Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager with specialised skills in scaffolding to join our clients team in Dartford. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on our construction sites, with a particular focus on scaffolding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly relating to scaffolding.
3. Provide training and support to staff on health and safety protocols and scaffolding safety.
4. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
5. Liaise with external health and safety authorities and ensure that all legal requirements are met.
6. Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer’s industry.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the construction industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of scaffolding safety regulations and best practices.
3. NEBOSH certification or equivalent.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
