An established industry player is seeking a dedicated SHEQ Manager to lead safety, health, environment, and quality initiatives within their manufacturing operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring compliance with ISO standards, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a proactive safety culture. An exciting time to join this well–established business during a time of growth and expansion, this is a key Management Role within the organisation (currently c.50 staff and part of a much bigger group) where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference and would suit someone who takes pride in their work and care about everything SHEQ ideally from a manufacturing background.
To ensure the effective management of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) standards within manufacturing operations. The role focuses on aligning practices with ISO standards, especially ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement across safety, environmental, and quality systems.
With a minimum of 5 years of SHEQ management within a manufacturing industry implementing and maintaining ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015 systems. Will need to be proactive, results driven with strong attention to detail, a high level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices. You will be self–motivated with the ability to plan your own workload conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Planning and delivering comprehensive SHEQ training programs, emphasising ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001. Enhance employee awareness of SHEQ standards and responsibilities through workshops, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions. Prepare and present regular SHEQ performance reports, including KPIs related to safety incidents, environmental impact, and product quality. Working closely with Engineering, Production and Maintenance teams. Developing and implementing QMS to ensure product meets client specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with production teams to optimise workflow and maintain consistent product quality.
