We're currently recruiting a Health and Safety Manager to work across a large construction framework within East Anglia. This position will be client-facing and leading an operational team of SHE Advisors across the region.

Specifically, this organisation is looking for a creative, innovative individual with new ideas, which can ensure their cutting-edge health and safety program continues to deliver to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

1. Build a long-term relationship with the client, keeping them informed of safety standards across the framework while managing the operational team of SHE Advisors.
2. Conduct major incident investigations to identify root causes and make recommendations to prevent any reoccurrence.
3. Audit and report on Health and Safety performance.
4. Constantly assess opportunities for continual Health and Safety improvement and share best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

1. Ideally hold a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ5 (or equivalent) and Cert IOSH status working towards chartership.
2. Proven experience in a similar role within a Principal Contractor / Tier 1 construction organisation.
3. Strong experience working with external stakeholders and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
4. Experience operating at a senior level with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
