ContractorReddbrick are recruiting for a Regional Contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-profile construction projects across the Midlands and throughout the UK. Currently, they are seeking a talented and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team and to oversee Health and Safety processes across the whole group.
Applicants should have a background within Building and Construction and hold an excellent understanding of construction health & safety legislation. Experience of Fit-out and Refurbishment projects including passive fire works would be advantageous. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
The Health and Safety Manager will report to the Construction Director and the successful candidate would have responsibility for supporting the project delivery team on multiple projects. You will ensure that the company's health, safety, quality, and environmental system is managed and implemented effectively. The Manager will foster a safety-first culture across the organisation, promoting employee engagement and participation in health and safety initiatives. Encourage proactive safety behaviours at all levels of the organisation, and communicate the importance of health and safety to staff. Run campaigns and initiatives to promote workplace health and well-being, including mental health awareness, ergonomic safety, and stress management.
