Job description

Health and Safety manager contract position available in Hull, this is a circa 3 to 4 month contract paying £360 per day. Starting end of May, the project will require a manager who is also available to work Saturdays.

The HSE manager on this project will be covering all aspects of Health, Safety and Temporary Works, which will involve the installation of machinery and equipment. Experience in heavy engineering, machinery removal/installation projects will be required, such as production line installations and factory fit outs.

You will be working closely with the Principal Contractors Project Management team and Safety Division to ensure all compliances are met on site. Overseeing the workforce and various pieces of plant, cranes, and other equipment being utilized on site for day-to-day operations. Other responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to on site.
  2. Conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
  3. Providing safety training and guidance to staff.
  4. Reporting and investigating incidents.

Qualifications:
We would like to hear from Health and Safety experts with NEBOSH General Cert and ideally CSCS black card.
