Are you a Health, Safety, and Wellbeing professional who enjoys exploring new ideas and engaging with the workforce beyond the standard audits? Do you thrive on innovation and continuously seek better solutions to drive improvements in health, safety, and wellbeing within a business?

Irwin & Colton has been engaged by a specialist contractor in the infrastructure, technology, and engineering sector, operating nationally across the built environment, to recruit a Health and Safety Lead.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Lead will include:

  1. Working with the Managing Director and board to ensure the successful delivery of an innovative Health and Safety strategy on site.
  2. Driving Health and Safety Innovation across the business.
  3. Identifying issues with risk management and making recommendations to improve.
  4. Speaking with site operatives to gather their perspective on Health and Safety improvements.
  5. Constantly assessing opportunities for health and safety improvements across the business.
The successful Health and Safety Lead will ideally have:
  1. Experience in a similar senior Health and Safety role.
  2. Experience influencing, engaging, and coaching senior management and site-level operatives.
  3. A NEBOSH Diploma.
  4. A full UK driver's licence.
