The successful Health and Safety Manager will receive support and development to achieve and maintain excellent Health and Safety standards within the business.
The Role:
Manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment.
Ensure all accreditations are maintained and achieved: ISO9001, ISO14001, ATEX/IECEx, Achilles Verify B2, and Safe Contractor Scheme.
Plan the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental strategies and develop effective procedures in line with legal and best practices.
Ensure that processes needed for the Management System (MS) are established, implemented, and maintained.
Manage the HSQE system to ensure that the relevant company's Achilles Verify rating is maintained and improved.
Determine the strategic direction (in conjunction with line management) for the continuous improvement of the Site's HSQE management programme and systems.
Manage and coordinate systems to ensure that the products or services of the company meet the highest quality standards and that the working conditions are safe for all employees.
Report to management on the performance of the MS and any need for improvement.
Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to the accreditation process.
Advise line management and assist with the implementation of new or existing HSQE-related legislation, rules, and company standards.
Requirements:
Health and Safety Management experience.
NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
CQI Certificate in Quality Management or equivalent.
Internal Auditor.
Proven experience as a HSQE Manager in a manufacturing environment.
ISO9001, ISO14001, 18001/45001 experience.
Proven experience in driving changes and improvements.
