Health and Safety Manager
Midlands Based

Are you a NEBOSH-qualified safety professional with a proven track record in managing health and safety across construction and solar farm projects? Do you have experience in delivering SHEQ compliance and supporting operational teams? If so, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you!


A leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to provide vital support across two diverse businesses, ensuring the delivery of SHEQ compliance, safety best practices, and continuous improvement across multiple sites.


Responsibilities
  1. Ensuring SHEQ compliance and providing guidance on legislation and best practices across two businesses.
  2. Reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation, and conducting inductions and training.
  3. Managing accreditations, audits, and ITT/PQQ submissions, and leading incident investigations with preventive recommendations.
  4. Conducting site inspections, vendor reviews, and monitoring SHEQ performance against objectives and KPIs.

Requirements
  1. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) with expertise in SHEQ systems and health and safety legislation.
  2. Proven experience managing H&S across multiple sites, particularly in construction and solar farm sectors.
  3. Full clean UK driving license with flexibility for travel and varying hours.
  4. Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities and work both independently and in teams.
