We now have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Lead to work as part of our QHSE Team, based out of our Head Office in Ipswich. Travelling to various sites is essential for this role so a full UK driving licence will be needed.
The main purpose of this role is to support the QHSE & Business Improvement Director with the day-to-day health & safety advice and support across the company.
Are you the person we are looking for?
The ideal Health & Safety Lead must hold a NEBOSH qualification, be a member of IOSH or IIRSM, and have in-depth knowledge and experience of health & safety. An ability to engage, influence and persuade at all levels is essential. A pragmatic approach to health & safety combined with excellent communication skills are essential for this role as you will be required to communicate with all operations at all levels across the business.

Although the role is predominantly health & safety based, knowledge and experience of both Quality and Environmental systems and standards would be an advantage along with construction or civil engineering experience.
