Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a knowledgeable and confident Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant in the Yorkshire area. The role is within a busy and well-regarded Compliance organisation, who offer competitive further training routes and opportunities to grow within the industry. You will be attending client sites to thoroughly assess premises for safety risks and making practical and detailed recommendations directly to clients. Applicants must have a professional and confident manner when representing the company and must be able to provide tailored technical advice to clients. Experience / Qualifications:

1. Will have strong experience working as a Health & Safety / Fire Risk Consultant
2. Must be qualified with industry-relevant tickets / training, such as: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, Fire Certificate
3. It would be desirable for candidates to hold the CMIOSH and / or TECHIosh, but this is not essential
4. Able to demonstrate a high level of industry technical knowledge
5. Maintains updated with industry regulation changes
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. IT literate
8. Comfortable with client-facing interactions

1. You will be completing in-depth health and safety / fire risk assessments across a range of client sites, including: Commercial, Industrial, Local Authority and Public Sector
2. Producing robust risk assessment reports, highlighting potential risks and action required to eradicate
3. Meeting with clients to discuss findings and answer any technical queries that may arise
4. Conducting accident investigations and implementing changes to procedures to avoid repeat incidents
5. Reviewing existing safety and fire plans and making recommendations to improve
6. Leading training courses to clients
7. Remaining up-to-date with industry guidelines
8. Travelling to client sites as required
