Health and Safety Consultant
Location: Yorkshire / Doncaster
Salary: Up to £43,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance and Benefits

Are you seeking a dynamic and varied role that offers exposure to a diverse range of industries?

Irwin and Colton have partnered with a leading Health and Safety Consultancy to find an exceptional Health and Safety Consultant. This renowned organisation serves a broad client base across industries such as retail, hospitality, manufacturing, engineering, and property management, with over 20,000 clients across the UK. This role will involve visiting and supporting client sites across the Yorkshire / Doncaster region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with clients to provide expert health and safety guidance, reporting, and advice across multiple sites.
  2. Monitor, evaluate, and enhance client health and safety strategies, working to cultivate a positive safety culture on-site.
  3. Deliver a wide array of services including audits, risk assessments, policy reviews, training, and management systems assessments.
  4. Engage with internal teams to share best practices, continuously driving innovation and opportunities for improvement.

The Ideal Candidate:

  1. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent, such as NVQ Level 5) or IOSH membership (CertIOSH).
  2. Proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally in consultancy, though other relevant experience will be considered.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  4. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for building strong client relationships.
  5. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
