Hays Health & Safety are working with a world-leading packaging manufacturer based in North Wales who are seeking an enthusiastic Health & Safety Advisor willing to be hands-on and visible.

The successful candidate would be a confident, team-orientated individual with a relevant manufacturing background and NEBOSH trained.

You will have the ability to engage site teams on HSE matters and build rapport and develop culture on site.

Your new role
  1. Complete Audits on site ensuring any issues are reported and corrective action is taken
  2. Develop, maintain and implement internal management systems on site
  3. Develop relevant Health & Safety documentation and update as required
  4. Conduct regular training with site teams
  5. Deliver regular toolbox talks and report safety targets and performance to the team
  6. Produce regular Health & Safety reports
The successful candidate
  1. Minimum of 3 years in a Health & Safety role, ideally experience within Manufacturing
  2. NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards (Essential)
  3. A hands-on attitude with a natural ability to coach
