Job description

Hays Health & Safety are working with a world-leading packaging manufacturer based in North Wales who are seeking an enthusiastic Health & Safety Advisor willing to be hands-on and visible.

The successful candidate would be a confident, team-orientated individual with a relevant manufacturing background and NEBOSH trained.

You will have the ability to engage site teams on HSE matters and build rapport and develop culture on site.

Your new role
  • Complete Audits on site ensuring any issues are reported and corrective action is taken
  • Develop, maintain and implement internal management systems on site
  • Develop relevant Health & Safety documentation and update as required
  • Conduct regular training with site teams
  • Deliver regular toolbox talks and report safety targets and performance to the team
  • Produce regular Health & Safety reports
The successful candidate
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Health & Safety role, ideally experience within Manufacturing
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or working towards (Essential)
  • A hands-on attitude with a natural ability to coach
