Health and Safety Advisor Contractor

Reddbrick are recruiting for a Regional Contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering high-profile construction projects across the Midlands and the North.

Currently, they are seeking a talented and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team and to oversee their projects in the West Midlands Region.

Projects consist of Student Accommodation and BTR schemes and further commercial builds.

Health and Safety Advisor role
Applicants should have a background within Building and Construction and hold an excellent understanding of construction health & safety legislation.

Experience of Student Accommodation and BTR schemes would be an advantage. Education experience would also be beneficial.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Health and Safety Advisor responsibilities
The Health and Safety Advisor will report to the Head of Safety the successful candidate would have responsibility of supporting project delivery team on multiple projects, you will ensure that the company's health, safety, quality and environmental system is managed and implemented effectively.

Health and Safety Advisor Skills required:
• NEBOSH Construction / IOSH
• Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
• Good IT Skills
• Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001
• Ability to write reports
• Strong Organisational Skills
• Ability to positively promote best practice
