Health and Safety Advisor Contractor

Reddbrick are recruiting for a specialist Sub Contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering passive Fire and Fit out works Nationally.

Currently, they are seeking a talented and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team and oversee their compliance, including site Audits and projects.

Projects consist of commercial and education fit outs, specialist passive Fire works including BM Trada approved Fire Doors.

Health and Safety Advisor Role
Applicants should have a background within Building and Construction and hold an excellent understanding of construction health & safety legislation.

Experience of Passive Fire and Fire Doors would be an advantage. Education experience would also be beneficial.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Health and Safety Advisor Responsibilities
The Health and Safety Advisor will report to the Head of Safety. The successful candidate will have responsibility for supporting the project delivery team on multiple projects, ensuring that the company's health, safety, quality, and environmental system is managed and implemented effectively.

Health and Safety Advisor Skills Required:

1. NEBOSH Construction / IOSH
2. Strong Communication and Presentation Skills
3. Good IT Skills
4. Knowledge of OHSAS 18001 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 and BM Trada
5. Ability to write reports
6. Strong Organisational Skills
7. Ability to positively promote best practice
