Health and Safety Advisor - Harlow - Up to 45,000

A well-established, family-run business in the drainage, groundworks, and plumbing sector is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our growing team in Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a supportive, close-knit environment.

About the Role

We need someone with site experience as this role involves visiting sites, conducting inspections, audits, delivering toolbox talks, and safety training.

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture across all teams. The role is office-based but requires frequent travel to sites across London.

You'll also have the opportunity to train as an in-house training manager, helping to deliver industry-specific courses internally.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage health & safety policies
• Conduct risk assessments and site audits
• Provide expert guidance on safety matters
• Investigate accidents and implement preventive measures
• Deliver engaging health & safety training sessions
• Monitor and report on safety performance
• Stay updated on health & safety regulations

Qualifications & Skills

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification (required)
• Proven experience in health & safety management
• Strong communication & leadership skills
• Analytical mindset & problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in safety management systems & reporting tools
