Job description

My client is looking for a Health & Social Care/Childcare Lecturer to work at an Establishment around the Aylesbury area. This is a Part-time Temporary role to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and it will be teaching the Level 2 & 3 classes for 19 hours per week.

To be considered YOU MUST HAVE:

  1. Recent experience working as a Health & Social Care/Childcare Teacher
  2. A Relevant Teaching Qualification
  3. Experience of teaching the Level 2 & 3 classes
  4. A current Enhanced DBS and be available to start ASAP

If you are a teacher with dynamic qualities who has a proven record of raising pupil attainment, are able to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilities, are keen to further develop your own practice and to work in a team, then we would like to hear from you.

Job Specific Requirements:

  1. Ability to teach the full range of timetabled courses in the subject area
  2. Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
  3. A knowledge of current issues and developments in curriculum and experience of curriculum development
  4. Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
  5. Ability to effectively manage the learning and teaching of individual pupils, groups and classes
  6. Ability to prioritise the work of the subject department and proven organisational skills
  7. Ability to use appropriate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, pupils and parents
