Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Therapist to lead and manage our soon to open tranquil country escape. This role requires a skilled professional with exceptional treatment expertise, leadership qualities, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining high treatment standards, and supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform a range of professional beauty and wellness treatments to the highest standard.
2. Supervise, mentor, and support a team of therapists to ensure excellent service delivery.
3. Conduct training and development sessions to maintain and enhance team skills.
4. Monitor and manage treatment room standards, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
5. Assist with scheduling, stock control, and ordering professional products as needed.
6. Ensure all treatments adhere to health and safety regulations.
7. Handle client consultations, address concerns, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
8. Drive sales of treatments and retail products, supporting business growth.
9. Work closely with management to implement new treatments, promotions, and service enhancements.

Requirements

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a therapist, with leadership experience preferred.
2. Recognised beauty or spa therapy qualifications (e.g., CIDESCO, CIBTAC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
3. Strong knowledge of skincare, massage, and body treatments.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Ability to train and mentor junior therapists.
6. Passion for wellness and delivering outstanding customer service.
7. Sales-driven mindset with a focus on business growth.
8. Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
