Are you ready for the next step in your career journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior leader to join us as Head Teacher of Buckie Community High School; one of our largest secondary schools in Moray in a coastal area of outstanding natural beauty. Buckie Community High School is a six-year comprehensive secondary school, serving the town of Buckie; a Moray coastal community stretching from Portgordon in the West to Cullen in the East, in a picturesque location within the North East of Scotland. The school roll at this time is approximately 830 young people, with a functional capacity of 900 pupils.

Requirements

To provide professional leadership and management of the school ensuring the safety of all pupils and conducting the affairs of the school to the benefit of the pupils and the community it serves through pursuing objectives and implementing policies set by the education authority under the overall direction of the Director of Education and Social Care. The duties of the Head Teacher are:
