Head Teacher

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a Head Teacher in a village school within The New Forest. We are dedicated to providing exceptional education and fostering a nurturing environment for all students. Therefore, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Teacher to lead this lovely school.

As a Head Teacher, you will:

1. Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school.
2. Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
4. Manage and support teaching staff, ensuring professional development and high standards of teaching.
5. Engage with parents, students, and the wider community to promote the school's values and achievements.
6. Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations.
7. Monitor and evaluate the school's performance and implement improvement plans.

About you:

1. Holds a Headship qualification
2. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
3. Have proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
4. Possess strong understanding of the curriculum development and educational best practices.
5. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
6. Have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
7. Show commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Position - Head Teacher
Contract or position start date - ASAP
Duration - Permanent
Full time/part-time - Full Time
Hours - Standard working hours 8.00am-4.30pm (times may vary).

Essential Qualifications:

1. Holds NPQH - ESSENTIAL
2. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ESSENTIAL
3. Has experience in school leadership roles - ESSENTIAL

1. Hold right to work in the UK
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide references upon request
4. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
