Due to the retirement of our highly regarded Head Teacher, the children, staff, and governors of St Andrew’s CE Primary School are now seeking to appoint an outstanding leader who will embrace both the strengths of the past and rise to the challenges of the future, bringing drive and ambition and providing the highest standard of leadership.

We are looking for a Head Teacher who:

• Understands and will promote our strong Christian ethos and values to ensure they will continue to flourish within the diverse community.
• Is a team player with high expectations of themselves, pupils, and staff and has a passion for enabling everyone to reach their abilities.
• Has the vision, passion, and enthusiasm to motivate and inspire everyone to be the best they can be.
• Is approachable and has a proven track record of developing and maintaining good relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and external agencies.
• Will ensure the importance of academic progress is accompanied by opportunities to develop social, creative, and sporting skills.
• Has an excellent understanding of safeguarding and is fully committed to inclusion, equality, and diversity.
• Will provide the highest levels of support for staff well-being and for their professional development while ensuring that all staff are respected and valued.
