Job Title: Head of Validation

We are exclusively representing a leading pharmaceutical company based in Ireland in this search for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Validation to join their dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Head of Validation with a minimum of 12 years of experience in process validation, including 7 years in leadership roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the validation activities within our represented pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will oversee the development and execution of validation strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement validation strategies and policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
2. Lead and manage the Validation team exclusively at our represented pharmaceutical company, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
3. Oversee the validation of manufacturing processes, equipment, facilities, and computerized systems.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that validation activities are integrated into project plans and timelines.
5. Review and approve validation protocols, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
6. Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends related to validation, and incorporate best practices into validation processes.
7. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and auditors regarding validation matters.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 12 years of experience in process validation within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
3. In-depth knowledge of validation principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH).
4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Proven track record of successfully leading validation projects and initiatives.
7. Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies and participating in regulatory inspections.
8. Demonstrated commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
