We have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and driven individual to join as our Head of Technology. This person will be key in driving our technical agenda both internally and externally.

Based: Sheffield Office S9

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.30

What you'll be doing:

• Internal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and management of the company's internal IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Internal Systems: Manage and enhance internal systems to support business operations, including ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.
• Business Intelligence: Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
• Service Desk Management: Supervise the service desk team, ensuring they provide exceptional support to our managed services clients and resolve issues efficiently. Mentor and develop the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute technology strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions and services.
• Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and implement robust security measures to protect company data and systems.

What we're looking for:

• Management experience in a similar sized, sales-driven business.
• Proven coaching skills, a hands-on management style, and a passion for building team confidence and capability.
• A track record of identifying commercial opportunities within a team to maximize sales.
• Provision of meaningful reports including KPI reports and customer reports to Sales.
• Confidence in working in a team, and being approachable and friendly to colleagues and clients.
• Keen to learn about the latest technology.
