An established industry player is seeking a Head of Service for Rehabilitation and Therapies. We have a new opportunity to develop a Head of Service role within Rehabilitation and Therapies. This will involve working alongside the existing Head of Service, and managing a portfolio of services within the adult's division.
Services are primarily focussed on community rehabilitation and enablement. You should have an interest in intermediate care and understand discharge to assess, urgent care and home first principles.
You will support the Assistant Director to deliver high standards of care. You will take responsibility for the provision of specific services, working closely with external stakeholders, across health and social care, to provide seamless pathways of care for patients.
As Head of Service, you will work collaboratively as part of the dynamic strategic leadership team and be accountable for clinical leadership within the services. This is a senior management role holding both operational and strategic responsibilities as well as a substantial budget which requires robust financial control across the range of services.
You will empower staff to be instrumental in delivering high service performance, utilising a transformative and proactive approach to ensure the provision of high-quality care to service users, deputising for the Assistant Director as required.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all services meet the required local and national targets and standards in relation to quality, performance governance, workforce planning and finance.
