The School of Commercial Industries and Access currently includes students on 16-18 study programmes and T Levels, adult programmes including access and part time adult programmes, as well as a substantial HE provision.
We are now seeking a Head of Section – Travel and Tourism, Direct Pathways and Esports.
The focus of the Head of Section is to ensure that current and future students receive a first-class experience that enables them to progress and attain their qualifications at high levels and to develop long-lasting learning and employability skills. Success is measured in terms of value added, meaningful progression in education and training and destination into higher education and/or employment.
You’ll become a member of the School Management Team and have collective responsibility for the implementation of the School Business and Improvement Plans, as well as contributing to College Objectives and Improvement Plans. The Section has a diverse curriculum area with programmes including Aviation, Cabin Crew, Esports, Travel & Tourism and Directed Pathways. The teaching commitment is in the field of Travel & Tourism, Aviation and/or Esports.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be eligible for any increase in salary as a consequence of the annual cost of living review that will be implemented in the new academic year.
