Ideagen is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Sales Operations to join our team. This pivotal role is designed to support our next phase of accelerated growth, where strategic thinking and operational excellence will be crucial to our success. As the Head of Sales Operations, you will manage the Global Sales Operations team and collaborate closely with sales leadership, driving initiatives that enhance our sales organisation’s effectiveness and align with our strategic objectives.

You will take responsibility for sales planning, forecasting, reporting, commissions, compensation planning & quota setting whilst having a keen eye on improving sales productivity, process and driving responsible sales growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the SVP, Revenue Operations, and Chief Revenue Officer to align sales strategies with organisational goals.
  2. Champion CRM discipline and Pipeline Hygiene to foster data integrity and usage.
  3. Manage sales forecasting processes to ensure accurate predictions of future performance and seamless integration with other company planning processes.
  4. Establish and implement performance measures to track progress against the sales strategy, managing reporting cadence and dissemination of essential sales intelligence.
  5. Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with sales leaders utilising tools such as Power BI, Clari, and Salesforce.
  6. Oversee comprehensive sales planning involving resource allocation, territory management, quota assignments, compensation design, and monthly commissions.
  7. Work with senior sales leadership and cross-functional teams to simplify sales processes and facilitate the successful adoption of new initiatives.
  8. Manage and develop a dynamic team of sales operations professionals, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Skills and Experience
  1. Experience in an operational role supporting senior sales management within a SaaS environment; experience in private equity-backed settings is a plus.
  2. Proven operational experience in organisations facing diverse products and markets/verticals.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing processes and methodologies, along with superior organisational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  4. A service-oriented mentality with a proven track record of collaborating successfully across sales and marketing functions.
  5. Strong passion for information and business intelligence, with excellent Excel and analytical skills.
  6. Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in influencing sales leaders effectively.
