Job description

DCT Recruitment are seeking experienced Head of Sales and Lettings for our client based in Liverpool.


About the Role


Duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Manage and provide expert leadership to a team of 3 in our busy Lettings department, where our team oversees over 750 units across 150 houses.
  2. Expand and optimise the rental portfolio, working closely with our Director to identify possible weaknesses and opportunities for growth.
  3. Reporting on the performance of the department through management of KPI's.
  4. Developing and nurturing relationships with new and existing landlords.
  5. Actively seeking & signing up prospective landlords and conducting their rental appraisals.
  6. Ensuring maximum utilisation of rooms, maximising income.
  7. Liaising with tenants & landlords, always providing outstanding customer service.
  8. Overseeing the processing of tenant applications and reference checks.
  9. Taking the lead on producing marketing material for our rental units.
  10. Managing and monitoring rent reviews and increases across the portfolio.
  11. Working closely with the Property Management team to ensure efficient operations.

Candidate requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in the industry.
  2. Thorough understanding of Lettings.
  3. Arla qualified (preferable).
  4. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  5. Desire to be an integral part of a thriving team.
  6. High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Full Driving Licence and use of own car.
  8. Strong and confident telephone manner.
  9. Excellent time & organisation skills.
  10. Excellent attention to detail and following processes.
  11. Knowledge of local area preferable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


Normal working hours: Monday to Friday 9-7pm - manage own hours that meets business needs.


Salary: £35,000 per year basic salary, plus bonus favorable scheme.
