HEAD OF RISK AND COMPLIANCE

UK – REMOTE BASED

THE COMPANY

This is an exciting opportunity with a scale-up business in the Consumer Lending space. They are an innovative, forward-thinking business with a worldwide presence. They’re currently building out their senior UK hires and this role offers the opportunity to really influence their growth in the UK market.

THE ROLE

• Design and maintain compliance programs, acting as a key contact for the FCA to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Take the lead as MLRO and ensure strong AML policies are in place across the business.
• Lead the risk and compliance team to drive performance and enhance the business objectives.
• Develop risk and compliance policies as the business grows, working closely with senior stakeholders and clients.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience holding an SMF16 or SMF17 role is essential.
• Ideal to have prior experience within the consumer lending space.
• Experience working in risk and compliance management within the lending space.
• Strong understanding of FCA guidelines and SML regulations.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Up to £150,000 base salary.
• Equity options may be available.
