The role

As a Quality Business Partner - Quality Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Providing strategic and operational support on all day-to-day quality matters. Work side by side with the business providing a service, enhancing delivery outcomes, and driving continuous educational improvement.

Day-to-day, you'll oversee the development and implementation of a quality assurance framework monitoring the effectiveness of training (including Apprenticeship provision) within the Resilience line of business.

  • Manage the internal quality cycle process for the line of business. Including the development and monitoring of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) in conjunction with the contract teams.
  • Create, implement and update policies aligned to the needs of the contracts including working directly with HEI partners and customers to ensure policies and procedures align with training requirements.
  • Lead the preparation activities for an Ofsted inspection (as the Prime) across the business unit.
  • Work effectively with the customers (Met Police and London Fire Brigade) on all quality related training matters.
  • Manage the quality team to ensure compliance and adherence to the relevant processes, including the IQA strategy.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides some hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the Quality Business Partner - Quality Manager

  • Extensive education / training quality experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Education Inspection Framework.
  • Previous Ofsted nominee (apprenticeship provision).
  • A detailed understanding of the apprenticeship environment and provision of commercial training.
  • Safeguarding experience.

  • Quality qualification (e.g. Qualified IQA)
  • L2 English and Maths or equivalent

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain NPPV1 security clearance for this role.
