Salary: Circa £120,000 per annum
Hybrid, Minimum of 2 days in the office per week

SBS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Project Delivery to lead and manage our project delivery team. This role is suited to an individual with a deep understanding of project management within a software-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience overseeing complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with financial objectives. The Head of Project Delivery will directly manage and lead a team of experienced Project Managers, distributed across the UK, France, Ireland, and America, to execute key initiatives critical to the business's success.

What will the role involve?

1. Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of experienced Project Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high-performance delivery across all project teams.
2. Project Delivery Oversight: Oversee the delivery of large-scale, high-impact software projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
3. Process Implementation: Develop, implement, and continuously refine project management processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and ensure consistency in project execution across the business.
4. Process Governance: Conduct regular project reviews, driving continuous improvement across project planning and delivery processes.
5. Financial Management: Track and report on project financials, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and tracking of project expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
6. Stakeholder Management: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers, ensuring transparent and effective communication on project status, risks, and issues.
7. Organisational Awareness: Work cross-functionally with product development, engineering, sales, and client teams to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.
8. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure that any potential impact on project delivery is minimized.
9. Strategic Input: Collaborate with leadership to contribute to the strategic direction of the business and align project delivery with broader business objectives.
