IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

The Head of Product will have responsibility for creating a vision of desired capabilities of the Foods Connected platform to enable and support our business strategy and priorities as we scale for long-term growth. As the Head of Product you will have ownership of and drive the roadmap and execution towards achieving this vision through collaboration with the Development team, Customer Success team and our Marketing team.

You will identify solution-focused product enhancements, define the work required & work with Project and Technical teams to deliver measurably successful improvements. The Head of Product will manage a team consisting of a number of Product Managers, Business Analysts and work in close collaboration with our Engineering and Customer Success teams.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Management

1. In partnership with Foods Connected Senior Leadership Team, create a future state multi-year roadmap of desired capabilities for the Foods Connected platform, aligned to business strategy/priorities and to scale for growth.
2. Execute against the company’s product strategy and realise our product roadmap across multiple product lines. Currently Foods, Clothing & Racing. You will be responsible for aligning product strategy with Foods Connected’s long term vision and growth objectives.
3. Improve Product Operations across all product lines and enable all product managers to deliver against roadmap targets.
4. Utilise data analytics to track product performance, identify trends and make informed decisions.
5. You will take the lead on communicating the product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including executives and customers.
6. Drive action throughout the organisation to successfully launch products and features to market.
7. Support the creation and management of pricing models for each product.
8. Create a roadmap and execution plan for delivering towards the desired future vision and needed capabilities.
9. Apply agile mindset and iterative planning approach to product development to increase efficiencies.
   
   

Product Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

1. Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. This will include Business Analysts, Product Owners, and a UX/UI Design and Research team.
2. Ensure the product team delivers high-quality output by providing clear guidance, support, and accountability.
3. Act as the primary liaison between software engineers, customer success/implementation teams, and other key stakeholders both internal and external.
4. Champion client needs, ensuring the development of features and integrations that address pain points and deliver value.
5. Work closely with technical teams to ensure scalability, performance, and usability of the platform.
   
   

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a Business related field.
   
   

Preferred Qualifications

1. 8+ years of experience in product management roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
2. Certification in Product Management or Agile frameworks (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager) is a bonus.
3. Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
4. Experience within the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry or similar software businesses.
5. Familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities in industries such as food, agriculture, or supply chain management is a plus.
   
   

Experience Required

To perform this job successfully, the Head of Product should have experience with:

1. Familiarity with modern software development tools and methodologies, including Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centered design mindset.
3. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, with a focus on value-driven delivery.
4. Strong presentation and facilitation skills, capable of representing the company and product vision effectively.
5. Experience working with enterprise clients and managing complex integration requirements.
