The Procurement team is repositioning itself to become a strategic enabler for BBC. The Head of Procurement – Commercial & Content will play a key part in this, acting as the primary procurement partner to our commercial arm, including BBC Studios and Studioworks and the BBC Content division.
Main Responsibilities
Managing a large team and influencing a budget of up to £500m, the Head of Procurement will develop and implement procurement strategies for their business areas, to drive value from the supplier ecosystem whilst managing relevant spend categories pan-BBC. They will act as trusted partner to senior stakeholders in their business areas, embedding procurement best practice as the BBC moves to deliver its Value for All Strategy.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and inspiring Procurement Leader with strong business acumen and a track record of leading teams through procurement transformation who can bring sharp, sophisticated, and bold thinking to the BBC, informed by a strong understanding of the commercial landscape of content production and distribution.

Salary: £95000 - £110000
