Head Of Procurement

Primary procurement point of contact for all activities relating to the business in relation to Sub Contracts, Materials and Plant.

• To keep informed on developments in the local, national and international supply markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors who represent a cultural fit with Kilnbridge.
• To utilise the supply chain relationships to be aware of market innovations pro-actively and to inform work winning and operational teams accordingly.
• Provide operational procurement advice, guidance support and direction operating to best practice.
• Continue to develop and manage the company supply chain.
• Responsible for performance management of the supply chain, ensuring adequate feedback is obtained and response to that feedback.
• Ensuring goods and services procured support Project objectives and timelines.
• Leverage all possible operational, technical and commercial opportunities.
• Uphold the company’s vision, ethical standards, policies and culture.
• Provide leadership and integration with all stakeholders relating to the ongoing ESG agenda.

Ensure that the company appraisal process is followed, and all appraisals are carried out within the specified timeframe.

• Maintain transparent communication by conducting regular individual meetings with team members to monitor individual performance against set objectives and provide effective performance feedback.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding in line with the company onboarding programme and providing career development planning and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees, when required. Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures.
• Maintain workforce planning schedules, including effective management of absences, sickness, holidays, and training requirements.

• Recognised qualifications or relevant work experience.
