Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and well-liked food brand in London. This role requires someone to lead the procurement function (team of 7), driving strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
It requires someone with a passion for the food industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead a large and diverse team.
Based in London, with hybrid working, our client has a long history and track record of creating some well-known food products. The business prides itself on creating high-quality food products that are at the forefront of innovation.

- Creating and developing the overall procurement strategy
- Leading a team of 7 (3 direct line reports)
- Sourcing ingredients from global suppliers
- Leading negotiations for major tenders
- Working cross-functionally with NPD, Supply Chain, Finance, and Logistics
- 8+ years of procurement, sourcing experience
- Well versed in sourcing food, ingredients, or commodities
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing people
- Great communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
