A prominent not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Head of Procurement to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a salary of £80,000. The role requires only one on-site visit per month at their Southern offices.

Role Responsibilities of the Head of Procurement:
- Lead and implement a comprehensive procurement framework and long-term strategy across all business areas of the Group.
- Provide specialised support on procurement issues to ensure business needs are met while complying with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with legislation and best practices.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of procurement systems and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achievement of operational targets.
- Conduct proactive analysis of spending areas to optimize contracting strategies and deliver maximum value.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain a future-ready procurement function by integrating insights and innovation.
Person Specification of the Head of Procurement:
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement with a broad background across general indirect and construction-related services.
- Demonstrable working knowledge and application of UK public sector procurement regulations.
- Confident in dealing with all levels of people in a professional manner.
- Experienced procurement leader with experience gained in driving change and improvements within a new or existing procurement team.
